When Tragedy Strikes Too Fast

Hello my lovelies!!!

Sorry, I haven't been posting for so long. The holidays have just been so busy!

This one might be a bit creepy so if you're not into that I suggest waiting for my next story.

Alright, let me get on with the story.

Byeeeee

Having an obsession with death is not easy. I don't want to die, I am just interested in death.

I once, as a little girl, went to a crime scene investigation to meet my father, we were going to pick him up for lunch. He's a paramedic so it was his job to help people who were sick, hurt, dying, or dead.

Just when I arrived at the crime scene, a man hit the ground. The sound of crying and bones breaking was confusing to me because I was, in fact, four feet tall, and I could not see what was going on.

I pushed my way through the crowd to see, and what I saw was what kindled my interest in death.

I saw a man, lying on the ground in a puddle of blood. I saw limbs twisted in impossible ways. It was horrifying and fascinating.

My father, being the intrepid man he is, cleaned up the crime scene without showing any emotion on his face.

My mother hated that I wanted anything to do with death. To say the very least, my mother did not endorse my interest. Every crime show or movie there was, I wanted to watch.

My mother and I had fought over weather or not I should get to watch such shows. It was arduous work, arguing with her. She put up a pretty good fight. nevertheless, I always won.

Today was the day I had been waiting for. Today was the day my favorite book became a movie.

Like all of the other things I was interested in, this book was about creepy, scary stuff. Except this one was about a famous death. The death of Annabel Elizabeth, well, more like murder.

My mother and I went into the mostly empty theater and sat down.

"Annabel was always such a personable person," Annabel's best friend Jane Michael started, with tears in her eyes, "She was exuberant and proficient in her job as a Actress. I haven't the slightest clue as to why anyone would want her dead."

The movie continued to grow kind of tedious actually, explaining her life and all. But I was on the edge of my seat when they got to her death.

A round of bullets deposited into her brain, heart, liver, lungs, basically everything.

The worst part? It was her Boss. The Director of the last movie she was in. he jut wanted her money.

It was said that because she died so quickly that she still roamed the earth, looking to punish any and all directors for what hers did to her.

The thought caused Goosebumps to form on my arms. She might still be out there.

I then heard a noise. It was the movie theater, people have popcorn and sweets right? But no, no one was to be seen.

A strange liquid started to pool at our feet.

"Dang it!" I yelled to no one in particular, "Be more careful wit your drinks!"

Wait... No one is here but us.

I quickly turned on my flashlight app and shone it at the ground. What I first thought was coke, turned out to be blood.

"Mom, we need to go." I said still looking at the ground behind us. My voice shaking with every word.

She didn't move. To interested in the movie I guess?

"Mom!" I said shaking her. my hand came back wet. I turned the flashlight to my hand. More blood.

The flashlight was now on her, and her chest was ripped open and her heart was taken out.

How could I not notice? I was sitting only two rows in front of her. Why didn't she scream. What the Heck is going on? I Thought to myself, gathering my things to leave.

Oh, 911 I remembered

Ring number one

Please pick up

Ring number two

You can't not answer a call, can you?

Ring number three

No answer.

I turn around and see a white figure.

I scream.

I run out of the theater as fast as I can.

As I'm driving home I try to figure out why the ghost would go after her.

Then I remembered.

My mom is a director.

The One That Got Away

The One That Got Away
Defendant:  *Walks in*

Plaintiff:*Walks in*

Both: *Swears on the Bible*

Judge: Okay, let's get this over with. State your case Mrs. Johanson (Plaintiff)

Plaintiff: Thank you your honor. On March 31st 2013 I saw Miss Dandler at her workplace, a zoo...

Defendant: Objection! I work with an exotic menagerie! Not a zoo!

Judge: Sustained. Please continue Mrs. Johanson

Plaintiff: Thank you. You see, Miss Dandler and I used to be friends, actually, the best of friends.
So I frequently went into the back, where they keep all of the animals that are hurt or dying.
I didn't like going back there, but I wanted to find her.
So I walked through the rows and rows of animals in dismal conditions.
I was wondering what could do such terrible things.
Then I heard something terrible.
Yelping and screams of pain.
I ran and ran, until I saw it.
I saw Miss Dandler torturing a poor, defenseless animal.

Defendant: *Gives an incredulous look and scoffs*

Plaintiff: I Lurked near the sight just to make sense of what was happening.
Then the yelping stopped.
I peered around the corner and saw the animal without it's head.
I started sobbing immediately.
She heard me, I could tell because I heard shuffling around the corner.
I instantly bolted.

Defendant: Objection!

Judge: What is it this time Miss Dandler?

Defendant: This is preposterous! She has no proof!

Judge: Mrs. Johanson? Do you have any proof to back up your allegation?

Plaintiff: Well, not exactly.

Judge: Well hen why did you even bother coming to court? Never mind that.
Miss Dandler, do you have anything to say?

Defendant: Yes your honor. All of this is a lie.
I wasn't even in the back on March 31st.
I was doing a presentation on why we should have koala bears!
I even have proof.

Defendant: *Hands the judge proof*

Judge: *Reads proof*

Judge: Yes this is conclusive proof that you were busy all of March 31.
 Miss Dandler's explanation seems plausible.
I find the defendant... not guilty.
Though I will be keeping a scrupulous eye on you both.
Case Dismissed

But the fact is, Mrs. Johanson knew what she saw.
And now a murderer is free.
